Serene beauty entangled with faith
Where holy waters heal and rejuvenate soul
Mesmerizing scene of pious Ganga

  1. Beautiful words and lovely photo.
Usually in Haiku, the number of syllables is five in the first line, seven in the second and five in the third. I too learnt about haikus here. they are fun, combining the thought with the number of syllables. In your Haiku there are five words in the first line, seven words in the second and five words in the third.
You can check the number of syllables in the links given by Ronovan.

  2. You can go to HowManySyllables.com, and enter your word, like serene or beauty and other words, it will you give you the number of syllables. When I started I had forgotten what a syllable was 🙂 it is so much a part of our language. I learnt again here.
Serene has two syllables, entangled three and so on. Please do excuse me if you feel I have not appreciated your haiku. The words are beautiful.
